I wish I had bought the Vortex Electric Protein Shaker sooner. I use a mixing bottle with my favorite protein powder. For soy isopropyl alcohol based powders, the older mixer worked well, although it leaked a bit. Then I bought a fuel for an enduro over 2.5 hours and it was almost impossible to mix.
I had to heat the water, use an oster Blender bottle, etc. Then I stumbled across this portable electric blender bottle and haven't looked back. It blends hard-to-mix fuels with ease, doesn't require warm water or a blender, the electric protein shaker doesn't leak, is easy to clean, and fits in the cup holder. Love the color (coral) too!
I've never used a shaker bottle before, so I tried this Voltrx Premium Electric Protein Shaker for its size and price. I saw the previous comment about the cap leaking, so I made sure to close the cap and cap properly before shaking. As long as the cap is on (I hear two clicks) and I tighten the cap properly, I have no leaks. If I rush through the process, I always miss something and end up with droplets flying out of the lid during the mixing process.
The curved bottom of the bottle works better with the metal mixing ball, and I have no unmixed protein powder in the bottom of my bottle. I have noticed that when I shake it sideways, such as when I use the shaker to mix cocktails, I reduce the powder that sticks to the side of the bottle. I am satisfied with my purchase.
I purchased a battery powered protein shaker from Marshall's to replace my other protein shakers.
Unlike my old vibrator, it doesn't have a rubber o-ring on the lid. Some people will think it's a negative, but it's actually a positive. Without O-rings, there are no moving parts that could get dirty, rot, deformed or lost.
This shaker provides a perfect seal and the small electric mixer bottle is 100% leak-proof no matter how I shake it. The cap snaps shut with a snap of confidence.
Shakers are malleable and easy to clean. Radian plastic doesn't retain any odor (as long as you clean it and don't leave it overnight).
The price of GNC electric mixer bottles really hasn't gotten any better. I can now enjoy silky smoothies again without any spillage.
I personally use a mixing bottle as a water bottle. I have been using this Mixer Electric Shaker bottle for the past few weeks with great results. It's nice to open the lid without worrying about it falling off, especially if you're driving. It's easy to snap the lid into place and has a handle to hold it.
The Portable Electric Protein Shaker bottle is easy to clean, my only small problem is that the part showing the volume is not indented as it should, and it is easy to wash and scrub my entire hand in the bottle.
